Physio-Led Virtual Pilates
Due to the current situation we have decided to do a ‘Virtual Physio-Led Pilates’ video of the class (1 hour long) which is suitable for beginners and those more advanced. Each exercise will be shown in 2/3 different levels so you can pick the level most suited to you. These exercises will be explained thoroughly and if you are unsure you can send the physio an email/a video of you doing the exercise to clarify.
“Thanks for these, it’s something to look forward to, knowing it’s structured and safe being physio led.
I’ve saved these videos to a folder so I can play them between sitting at my computer for work. Definitely helps when everything has seized up!
It’s great that you’re still able to do something to help clients. I’m missing Brodie’s magic and struggling without regular physio but this is keeping me on track. I’m sure it will help others.
Keep up the great work!”
You only need a Pilates mat and a towel/cushion for under your head.
The video link is sent to you via email so you can do the class whenever it’s convenient in the comfort of your own home. The sessions cost £6 on a pay as you go basis which is half our usual cost!
If you are interested or have any questions please email firstname.lastname@example.org

Dear PhysioNeeds East Bridgford patients
We hope you are all keeping safe and you and your families are managing okay in these very unprecedented times.
Following the Prime Minister's statement on Sunday 10th May 2020, regarding the movement of England to the second phase of COVID-19 pandemic response and communication from NHS England chiefs signalling a re-opening of some non COVID healthcare pathways, we have decided to open the clinic from 18th May for essential face to face treatment.
We assure you that we have put enhanced measures in place to ensure the protection of both you the patient, our staff and the wider public. A full risk assessment of the working environment has been undertaken. We are following Public Health England COVID-19 infection prevention and control guidelines. We still encourage a 'Virtual First' approach with our Telephone and Video Consultations which patients have found very useful so far.
Please see both PDFs attached outlining our SCREENING-CLEANING-PROTECTING protocols and our Updated Patient Support Flowchart to help explain our current Physiotherapy service available to you. All patients MUST wear a mask. Here is a link to an easy DIY mask (YouTube)
COVID-19 SCREENING QUESTIONS: When booking a Face to Face appointment you will be asked to confirm that you or any member of your household IS NOT presenting, or HAS NOT presented with the following symptoms in the last 14 days:
- a high temperature
- a new persistent cough
- a sore throat
- new onset of headaches
- loss of sense of smell or taste
- feeling unwell in any way
If you answer YES to any of the above then you will not be able to be seen Face-to-Face but we can still discuss and treat your injury via Telephone/Video Consultations.
We have also been posting lots of videos on our Facebook page and YouTube channel (PhysioNeeds) so do check those out to try and stay as active as possible. We have also be putting top tips on our Facebook page to help with prevention/management of injuries. If you have any questions, please do contact the clinic.
Stay safe everyone!
From all the team at PhysioNeeds
